IIT Guwahati, Singapore researchers develop alternative model to predict COVID-19 numbers in Indian states
Researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati and Singapore’s Duke-NUS Medical School have developed alternative model to predict the number of coronavirus cases in 30 days in different states. This data science model is a combination of all three different models that currently being used in the country. It predicts cases according to logistic method and exponential method (prediction if situation becomes severe). India will have 1.5 lakh COVID-19 cases as per logistic method and 5.5 lakh cases as per exponential method in next 30 days.
The 5th Asia Pacific Healthcare Summit (HPAP) 2020 is scheduled to be held in Singapore from April 16 to 17, 2020. This is an annual event which will host discussions and presentations about the healthcare sector.
